This Privacy Policy explains how Linky ("the app"), published by Grand Impala Labs ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information. Linky is built to work offline: the links, names, emoji, and logo images you create are stored only on your device and are never collected, transmitted, sold, or shared by us. The app displays ads through Google AdMob to remain free, which involves limited data collection described in section 4 below.
We do not collect, and have no way to access, the link names, URLs, emoji, accent colors, or logo images you save in Linky. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no remote servers operated by us — this content lives in the app's private storage on your device and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Linky may request access to your photo library only when you choose to add an image as a button logo, and access to the network to load websites you saved and to request ads. These permissions are never used to identify you personally or to collect data beyond what is needed for that feature.
Linky shows ads served by Google AdMob. To select, serve, and measure ads, AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect technical and device information — such as your advertising ID, IP address, general device and app information, and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks). This data is collected and processed by Google and its partners under their own privacy policies, not by us; we do not receive or store it. You can limit ad personalization for your device through your device's ad settings (for example, Settings > Privacy > Ads on Android), or opt out of personalized advertising generally at adssettings.google.com. Resetting or limiting your device's advertising identifier reduces ad personalization but does not stop ads from being shown.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share the content you create in Linky with anyone, because we never receive it. The only data shared with a third party is the limited advertising/device data described in section 4, which is collected directly by Google AdMob, not by us.
Everything you create in Linky — links, names, emoji choices, and logo images — is stored using your device's standard app-private storage, protected by your device's own security (lock screen, encryption, etc.). Because this data never leaves your device under our control, there is no Linky-operated server or database that could be breached.
The optional backup/export feature creates a file containing your links and logos so you can save or transfer it yourself (for example, via Messages, email, or a file app). Linky does not send this file anywhere automatically — sharing it is always your choice and under your control.
Sites you open through Linky load inside an embedded in-app browser and may have their own cookies, scripts, and privacy policies, entirely separate from Linky and from Google AdMob. Review their policies directly if you have concerns; we do not control or monitor third-party sites.
Linky is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us using the details in section 13 so we can address it. Where required by law or app store policy, ad personalization may be limited or disabled for users known to be children.
Because advertising data described in section 4 is processed by Google, it may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, under the safeguards described in Google's own privacy policy.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too, and the updated text will be published at this same web address and reflected in the app. Continuing to use Linky after an update means you accept the revised policy.
